Cool, creamy, and naturally blue—this boba tea float is a fun twist, made with Herbs & Kettles Blue Chai,  chewy tapioca boba pearls, and scoops of vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

Herbs & Kettles Blue Chai Boba Kit

  1. 2 Herbs & Kettles Blue Chai Tea Bags
  2. Cup or 8 fl-oz Near Boilng Hot Water
  3. 1-2 fl-oz Simple Syrup to Sweeten Blue Chai (Optional)
  4. 1/4th Cup Fast Cook Brown Sugar Boba Pearls
  5. 1/2 Cup Sugar
  6. 2 Scoops Vanilla Ice Cream

Methods

  1. Brew the Tea:
    Steep 2 Blue Chai tea bags in 1 cup of hot water for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool anf chill. Sweeten with simple syrup if desired.
  2. Cook the Boba:
    In a small saucepan, boil water and sugar, and cook the tapioca pearls according to package instructions (usually 5–7 minutes). Drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. Assemble the Float:
    Divide the boba between two clear glasses. Add one scoop of vanilla ice cream to each glass.
  4. Pour the Blue Chai:
    Slowly pour the chilled Blue Chai over the ice cream and boba. Let the vibrant blue tea gently cascade around the ice cream.
  5. Serve:
    Serve immediately with a spoon and wide straw.
