Elephants help define the entire ecosystem and are the “gardeners of the planet”. They consume different varieties of berries, bark, leaves, roots, and foliage; and wander across vast forests, dispersing seeds in their dung. The Indian elephant is listed as an endangered species with only 20,000-25,000 left in the wild.
This has an incredibly smooth green tea flavor with the perfect amount of florals and spice. No flavor is overwhelming any other; they all work in harmony to create the ideal balance in one cup of tea.
Kashmiri Kahwa from Herbs and Kettles is a truly beautiful tea — not only in aroma and taste, but also to the eye as well.
It is one of those luxurious blends that brings to mind snacking on dates in a tranquil setting while the notes of blooming roses fills the senses while surrounded by lush green valleys, snow-capped mountains — those picturesque landscapes that evokes a sense of paradise.
The thoughts of Kashmir always brings with it a sense of paradise, not only for its beauty but also a richness from its handcrafted goods of pashmina shawls, woollen carpets, and saffron. And the Kashmiri Kahwa fits so evocatively in those images. It really is a beautiful and magical elixir.
This green tea blend is infused with saffron, rose petals, almonds, and spices.
It’s a tea that offers the promises of tranquility and brings with it a perfect balance of spicy warmth and sweetness.
Herbs and Kettles describes this blend as a “celebration of authenticity” and I really couldn’t agree more. Its first sips are hypnotic and filled with the warm but spicier notes of the cardamom followed by the deeper layer of the cinnamon and almonds.
The cup offers a finish with a wonderful floral melody of roses. And oh the saffron! We cannot forget this wonderful herb and it is ever present in this blend with its earthy sweet flavor and honey note finish.
Everything is luxury with this blend and is one I will be ordering in the refill pouch.
It’s truly rejuvenation for the soul.
Kashmiri Kahwa
My new favorite tea:)
This blend is magnificent. Flavorful, but light.
Warm & bright.
An absolute treat. Lifts me up!
Yes you can add a sweetener like honey to your Kashmiri Kahwa. It can be served without sweeteners too as it has a naturally sweet and spicy taste which is very complimentary.
Yes, Kashmiri Kahwa can be enjoyed both hot or iced. To make a cold brew: take 3 g of Kashmiri Kahwa, add a small amount of hot water just enough to cover the tea leaves to ensure food safety, and then add 2 cups (480 ml ) of water at room temperature. Chill in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours and then strain and decant into a new container.
If you are allergic to nuts, please do not consume our Kashmiri Kahwa as it has slivered almonds.
Our Kashmiri Kahwa is spicy with a dash of natural sweetness. Full-bodied and rich with hints of leafy greens, almonds, ginger, and cinnamon. It's extremely soothing to the mind, body and soul.
Our Kashmiri Kahwa is loose leaf, we recommend steeping it in a teapot or infuser. You can also buy empty tea bags and put 2 gm of Kashmiri Kahwa tea in it.
Tea and spices do not expire like other goods and are shelf stable. However, its best to use them within 2-3 years of manufacturing as they may not taste as fresh.
