Chaiwala Tiger Tips

  • If you’re using dairy, whole milk works best.
  • Oat milk is the best milk substitute for rose cardamom chai. If you’re using plant based milk, the exact ratio of water to plant based milk will depend on its consistency and thickness.
  • If you want your rose chai sweet, sugar tastes better than honey. Add it when you’re preparing it on the stovetop.
  • If you want iced chai, prepare it as you would normally over a stovetop, then strain and put it in the refrigerator for a few hours. When chilled, serve over ice.

A Lovely Rainy Day Chai

H&K's Rose Cardamom Chai is a lovely, heartwarming, sensuous chai that begs to be drunk on a chilly rainy day. It'll bring a smile to your lips and lighten the clouds. I'd suggest it on any day, however, for it's just wonderful.

Warm and balanced

This chai is especially lovely with strong, but not overpowering, warmth from the cardamom. The rose notes bring a lush softness. It is the perfect late Fall cuppa

Pretty good and appreciate the free sample, but we liked the lavender better!

Tea-riffic Q&A Sips

Our rose cardamom chai is a fragrant luxury and a unique blend inspired by our OG masala chai. It has single origin, directly sourced loose leaf Assam black tea, chai spices with a generous sprinkling of cardamom and rose petals.

Our rose cardamom chai is a spiced black tea with the delicate, luxurious fragrance of rose petals.

Our rose cardamom chai is a definite best seller and is luxurious. The black tea base is slightly lighter than that of our masala chai so that the delicate aromas and flavors from the rose petals and cardamom can shine.

We enjoy our rose cardamom chai with whole milk or other dairy alternatives like oat or coconut milk.

Yes, try our rose cardamom chai with oat milk or coconut milk for a vegan or dairy-free version. Depending on the thickness of the oat and coconut milk you may have to change the water and milk ratio.

Masala Chai, a spiced Indian tea, is rooted in Indian culture. Cardamom is used widely in Indian cuisine in both sweet and savory dishes. For centuries, rose has been used by Middle Eastern and South Asian countries for its culinary and medicinal properties. Even in modern times, roses continue to be a symbol of love and beauty. So our rose cardamom chai is a beautiful blend of cultures and various traditions.

Rose Cardamom Chai or Elaichi tea presents a delightful fusion of aromatic spices and subtle floral undertones. The robustness of black tea forms a satisfying base, while the warmth of cardamom, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, and black pepper creates a comforting spice blend. Fragrant rose petals add an elegant floral essence, enhancing the tea's luxurious aroma.
